Spent my birthday packing and doing all those last-minute jobs, but did take time out for a super lunch at one of our favourite haunts, the Old Tollgate at Bramber.
Peter and Hannah and children set off this morning and while queueing for the channel tunnel, Emilie and Adam phoned and sang 'happy birthday' to me. Ahhh. We meet up with them next weekend by Lake Maggiore .....
